Edith Moreno
The Sweetheart of the Highway 10:00am to 12:00pm
Pastor Edith Moreno was born, reared and educated in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She accepted the Lord as her personal Savior at an early age under the leadership of the late Bishop Ida Robinson, founder of the Mt. Sinai Holy Churches, Inc. which was also her aunt. Pastor Moreno is married to Elder Domingo Moreno. Under this union, God has blessed them with five children, twenty-three grand-children and four great grandchildren.
For over twenty-five years, Pastor Moreno has been ministering on Gospel Highway Eleven, 1110 am, Monday through Friday from 10am to 12 noon, playing gospel music. She opens the phone lines at 10:45am for the listeners to call in their praise report and at 11:45am the calls are for prayers requests. Pastor Moreno states that God is doing a new thing in our ministry. People are being healed, delivered and saved over the airwaves. Praise the Lord!
Pastor Moreno’s ministry continues every Monday evening in a great healing and delivering service, which is held 8:00pm at their Philadelphia church. God has led Pastor Moreno
and her husband to several cities to establish other churches in Trenton, NJ; Ocean City, NJ and Vineland, NJ. They have preached God’s word overseas and witnessed a great move of God in Puerto Rico, St. Thomas and Nassau. God has also blessed them to go to the Holy Land, where they prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane, baptized in the river of Jordan and entered the tomb where Jesus laid. Elder Moreno sometimes preached in Spanish, while Pastor Moreno translated in English.
Pastor Moreno received her Doctor of Divinity from the Jamison Bible Institute.
